Crandallite is a rare complex phosphate that forms as a pseudomorph after wavellite crystals, meaning it replaces the original wavellite crystal structure while maintaining its botryoidal external shape. This occurs due to changes in the surrounding chemical environment over time, changing the chemical composition of wavellite, into Crandallite, while maintaining its structure.
Crandallite is the calcium analogue to plumbogummite. Classified within the Plumbogummite Group, Crandallite is a rare calcium aluminum phosphate hydroxide hydrate, sharing similarities with plumbogummite in composition.
Crandallite, encourages inner peace and tranquility, bringing soothing energy and is also associated with transformation, allowing one to smoothly integrate into new beginnings.
